Working in any capacity with children who are experiencing abuse or neglect, caught in the middle of domestic disputes, or trying to address serious behavioral issues can be quite taxing.  The job requires not only the compassion or desire to make a difference that may have prompted one to begin this journey, but also patience, stamina, wisdom, and good self-care, in order to continue doing it for very long.  This seminar offers attorneys, paralegals, and even lay volunteers a unique chance to discuss some of the thornier challenges that they encounter in the course of their work with juveniles in various sectors of the justice system, as well as practical guidance for staying the course and doing the job well in spite of them.
